GNA Health Ministry Confirms Strategic Inventory of Ventilators

The Undersecretary of Health for the Government of National Accord’s (GNA), Mohamed Haitham, said that the strategic inventory of respiratory ventilators in Libya is considered to be good. He noted that there are medical shipments that are part of the plan to confront Covid-19 that will arrive in Libya by the end of this month.

In a press conference, Haitham added that 16 sites had been designated to function as isolation units aside from official hospitals. These isolation sites are located in Ghat, Sabha and some border points.
