“Central Bank in Tripoli Adjusts Working Hours of Banks”

The Presidential Council of the Government of National Accord has directed governmental institutions to take precautionary measures to reduce overcrowding in a bid to stop the COVID-19 spreading in the country. The Council has ordered the reduction of working hours and alternate working days for various businesses and services.

Following this measure, the Central Bank in Tripoli has adjusted its working hours, and is now to be operational from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.. Public and Private banks will be allowed to operate and receive customers from 9.30 a.m. until 11.30 a.m..
