On Wednesday, the Libyan National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced two more patients had been diagnosed with Covid-19, raising the total number of people infected with the virus in Libya to 10.

The new cases were discovered after examining 11 suspected cases. Dozens of people in Libya are being tested daily in an attempt to monitor and prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus (commonly known as ‘Coronavirus’).

On Sunday, March 29, the NCDC announced eight new cases of Coronavirus, adding that the new patients had been in contact with other previously confirmed cases in Misrata.
