Libyan Embassy in Washington Calls on Citizens to Take Necessary Precautions Against COVID-19

On Thursday, the Libyan Embassy in Washington called on its citizens in the United States to exercise caution in light of the rapid spread of COVID-19 in the country. In a statement, it called on the Libyan community residing in the US to follow the instructions and preventive measures adopted by the American government to deal with the pandemic.

The Libyan community abroad has recorded a case of COVID-19 in Egypt, as well as a case in the UK.

As of Wednesday afternoon, more than 210,000 have been infected and at least 4,703 have died in the United States.
