The President of Libya’s House of Representatives (HoR), Aqeela Saleh, thanked all concerned authorities that are combating the Covid-19 threat.

According to the HoR’s media advisor, Fathi Abdul Karim Mariamite, the Saleh also expressed his thanks to the Libyan Red Crescent, scouts and all volunteers who are supporting the Ministry of Health, as well as those who carry out awareness, sterilization, and hygiene campaigns across Libya.

Saleh thanked the Libyan people for their cooperation and compliance with the instructions given by the concerned authorities to protect them from contracting the virus.

Dozens of people in Libya are being tested daily in an attempt to monitor and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Authorities in Libya have taken a series of stringent precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus in the country, notably the imposition of countrywide curfews and the closure of its borders.
