The Libyan football player and Espérance Sportive de Tunis’s midfielder Anas Al-Shebli said on Monday that he continues to train at his home in the Ghout al-Shaal district, in Tripoli.

He added that he has not stopped his training regimen since he left Tunisia, following the suspension of all sports activities in the country due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

In a press statement, Al Shebli explained that he abides by the government set curfew and spends most of his time with his family at his home.

Tunisia’s Esperance signed 18-year-old Shebli in August last year, from Tripoli’s Madina team. He is now considered one of the most prominent players in the Libyan Olympic team.

The Libyan National Center for Disease Control (NCDC), announced that the number of COVID-19, cases increased to 18, including one death.
