Ali Al-Saeedi, a member of the Libyan House of Representatives (HoR), stated that a political solution to the crisis in Libya cannot be achieved while the HoR remained suspended.

In a statement to the Russian news agency ‘Sputnik’, Al-Saeedi claimed that a political solution was linked to the military situation in the country and that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought all official meetings to a halt. According to Al-Saeedi, there could be no further progress until the HoR resumes its activities.
