On Monday, the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, discussed the latest regional developments in a phone call with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov.
The two discussed a wide range of issues, including the most recent activities on the ground in Libya, Syria and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
The talks also tackled the measures taken to contain the COVID-19 crisis, as well as the progress of the Ethiopian Dam project, according to Egyptian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez.
The two sides underlined the strength of bilateral ties at all levels, as well as the importance of continued consultations and coordination with regard to various issues of mutual concern.
