Tunisia’s Health Minister, Abdul Latif Al-Makki, received a delegation from the health office of the Libyan Embassy in Tunis to discuss ways to combat the spread of the COVID-19.
The meeting addressed ways to boost cooperation between Tunisia and Libya in the field of healthcare and to coordinate efforts to address the emerging of crisis.
Tunisia has 780 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 35 deaths, and 43 people recovered.
Libya’s National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), announced the discovery of thirteen new COVID-19 cases on Thursday, bringing the country’s total to 48 cases.
The NCDC stated that it had received a total of 62 samples, 49 of which were negative. It is the biggest daily increase since Tuesday’s announcement of nine new cases.
