Members of the Special Deterrent Force (SDF) headed by Abdel-Raouf Kara have allegedly arrived in the city of Zintan on orders from the Minister of Interior, Fathi Bashaga, to arrest Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi, a security source told Alsaaa 24 news agency.

A number of media outlets, informed sources and activists, circulated the news of the SDF force in Zintan. This is in apparent agreement with the commander of the western military zone, Osama Juweili.

The SDF has recently been accused of releasing extremist militants it had previously arrested to fight on behalf of the Government of National Accord against the Libyan National Army.
