Tunisian Sailors Detained in Libya Released

28 Tunisian sailors that had been detained by the Libyan Coast Guard since May 5 have been released, according to a statement by the Tunisian Consulate in Libya.

The release of the detained sailors took place in the presence of the Tunisian Consul, Tawfiq Al-Qasimi, after negotiations with Libyan officials in the city of Zawiya.

The sailors are in good health and they are on their way back to Tunisia aboard their vessels.
