US Offers $110 Million In Aid To Fight COVID-19 In North Africa

The United States announced that it has provided more than $110 million dollars, to North African countries, including Libya, to aid in their fight against the global COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the US Embassy’s statement on Wednesday, this funding is to help improve tracking and prevention mechanisms and to enhance laboratory and patient treatment capabilities. The statement pointed out the cooperation between the United States, and humanitarian organizations to support clean water, sanitation and personal hygiene programs.
