“Agoub Calls for Following-up on Citizens Returning from Turkey”

Libyan Health Minister, Saad Agoub, asked for citizens returning from Turkey to be followed-up with, stressing the need of all health personnel to be cautious to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Agoub called on all medical advisory committees and municipal monitoring and investigation teams to take precautionary measures with all citizens who were quarantined in the Pullman Istanbul Hotel in Turkey, in addition to those who have returned on May 5 and currently reside in the quarantine centres. He also asked such committees and teams to conduct the PCR examination on returnees.

The Health Minister also called on citizens to further cooperate with relevant authorities to ensure the safety of the health situation in Libya.
