Merkel stressed Germany’s support for a political solution in Libya, while ensuring the country’s security and stability.

Al-Sarraj stated that he supports the outcomes of the Berlin Conference. He stressed that a military solution would not solve the current Libyan crisis, believeing that a political solution would lead to peace.
