On Saturday, the Libyan National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported 30 new cases of Coronavirus in the country, raising the total number of confirmed cases to 239.
The NCDC added that, in a previous batch of 635 suspected cases, it had found 30 positive cases and 605 negative ones.
Libya currently has 182 active cases under medical observation, 52 successful recoveries, and five deaths.
Several Arab countries have tightened restrictions on movement and travel with the aim of curbing the spread of the virus.
Trillions of dollars have been pledged in economic stimulus packages around the world to reduce the economic repercussions of the crisis.
