UN: Youth and Women Empowerment is Necessary for Libya Prosperity

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and UN Women commemorated International Women’s Day in Libya by announcing the launch a new joint initiative aimed at promoting gender equality and empowering women and youth in Libya.

UNDP and UN Women called on civil society organisations to submit proposals that were relevant to those objectives. 10 successful submissions will receive a $15,000 grant to develop and implement their projects.
