In a strategic move to bolster its workforce’s capabilities, the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy has recently embarked on a significant training mission. This initiative involves sending a dedicated work team to the Arab Union for Leadership Development, Training, and Consulting in Egypt. The primary objective of this mission is to enhance the efficiency and skills of the technical and engineering staff.

As part of its ongoing strategy to strengthen its workforce, the Ministry directed a team to undergo specialized training in Egypt. Through investing in such training, the Ministry demonstrates its commitment to fostering a highly skilled and efficient workforce.

Since the beginning of 2023, Dr. Awad Al-Badri, the Minister of Electricity has made significant strides in enhancing the skills of staff members. This has been achieved through decisions to send more than 65 engineers and technicians to Africa, Europe, and the Middle East for advanced training. These efforts reflect the Ministry’s dedication to international standards and practices.

A notable aspect of this training initiative is Decision No. 62 of 2023, which involves sending nine engineers, financial experts, and administrators to participate in an executive management course. This course is being conducted under the direct supervision of Dr. Jihad Mohammed, with Dr. Hisham El-Belbisi overseeing the training. It is organized by the Arab Union for Leadership Development, Training, and Consulting, highlighting the importance of international collaboration in the development of leadership and management skills.

The Union’s involvement underscores the significance of cross-border educational initiatives. Through this collaboration, the Ministry aims to significantly advance the expertise of its personnel, aligning with global trends and innovations in the industry.

Through leveraging international resources and expertise, the Ministry is setting new standards in the industry, and ensuring its staff is equipped with the latest knowledge and skills to excel in their respective fields.
