Oman Welcomes Egypt’s Call For Arab Summit On Libya

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman has denied rumours that it has rejected the Egyptian call for an Arab League summit on Libya to discuss Turkey’s current intervention in the Libyan conflict.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry explained that consultations are currently taking place between member states regarding the meeting at the ministerial level.

Mohamed Siala, the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Libyan Government of National Accord, announced his refusal of the Egyptian call for the Arab League conference.
