The Executive Director of the Derna Reconstruction Fund and the Cities and Regions Affected, Al-Qasim Khalifa signed a series of projects with the Emirati company, GLOBAL CONTRACTING on Saturday.
These projects encompass a broad spectrum of development activities including the renovation of infrastructure, construction of sewage treatment plants, the establishment of two seawater desalination stations, and the creation of obstructive dams in the valley. Along with a comprehensive channel from the valley, to the sea.
Additionally, GLOBAL CONTRACTING will undertake the Wave Barrier project, which aims to preserve the coastal facade of the city. The company is also set to execute several projects beyond the administrative borders of Derna to the west.
This partnership marks a significant step in the reconstruction and development of Derna, with a focus on enhancing its infrastructure and environmental sustainability. The involvement of GLOBAL CONTRACTING, a noted player in the field, signals a commitment to quality and efficiency in these critical projects.
