On Saturday, Libya commenced its nationwide local youth council elections, under the rallying cry “Our Youth, a Pledge to the Nation.”

The Ministry of Youth, recognising the crucial role of these elections, has called upon the Libyan youth to participate wholeheartedly.

This year’s elections aim to fill 200 seats across local youth councils in 100 municipalities, underscoring a significant move towards empowering young Libyans and fostering their involvement in the political domain.
