Ageela Saleh, the Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives, has expressed his full support for the Libyan government led by Prime Minister Osama Hammad, stating his complete confidence in its ability to fulfill the aspirations of the Libyan people and advance the nation’s development and reconstruction.
Saleh reiterated his trust in the Libyan Development and Reconstruction Fund and the Reconstruction and Stability Committee, appreciating the efforts made through developmental projects launched in various cities and regions across Libya, as per the statement by Abdullah Blehaq, the spokesperson for the House of Representatives.
On Saturday, in Qubbah, Ageela Saleh met with Prime Minister Osama Hammad, Belqasim Haftar, General Director of the Libyan Development and Reconstruction Fund, and Hatem Elaribi, Head of the Reconstruction and Stability Committee.
The meeting focused on several service-related topics that benefit the nation and its citizens, particularly the national budget and its approval by the House of Representatives.
Blehaq emphasised the emphasis on meeting the basic needs of citizens, including food, medicine, and electricity. He noted that Hammad reaffirmed the Libyan government’s dedication to its assigned tasks and its commitment to elevating to meet the Libyan people’s expectations. This includes implementing plans, programs, and initiatives aimed at boosting the Libyan economy.
Blehaq further mentioned that Hammad briefed Saleh on his recent official tour of several cities, where major service projects were launched and reconciliation efforts in the cities of Murzuq and Kufra were led.
Additionally, Belqasim Haftar informed the Speaker of the House that their visits to southern and central cities are part of an official announcement for their reconstruction and the refurbishment of their service facilities.
