Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced on Friday that the Russian Embassy to Libya would resume its work from Tunisia.

“We welcome the initiative of an immediate ceasefire in Libya and the launch of a comprehensive political dialogue in the country to address the current crisis”, he said.

His remarks came during a meeting with Libyan Parliament Speaker Ageela Saleh in Moscow. The Foreign Minister stated that Russia will increase its efforts to address the Libyan crisis.
