The National Anti-Corruption Academy in Cairo hosted a training course for the first group of Administrative Control Authority officials, in May.
The course, titled “Procedures and Skills of Administrative Investigation,” aimed to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise with the Egyptian Administrative Control Authority.

The Administrative Control Authority announced on Sunday that the training program covered several key topics, including the nature of administrative investigations and their differences from criminal investigations, the essentials of drafting administrative investigation reports, and the procedures for gathering evidence in administrative investigations.

It also addressed the legal framework for crimes such as embezzlement of public funds, bribery, abuse of power, and forgery, as well as illicit gains, money laundering, and parallel financial investigations.

The course emphasized the role of administrative investigations in combating corruption, the proper components of an administrative investigation, personal data protection, cybersecurity, and presented a case study on combating cybercrime, alongside practical applications to enhance investigators’ skills.

The program also included discussion sessions for participants to share knowledge, experiences, and best practices in corruption prevention and control.

This initiative is part of broader efforts to enrich Arab cooperation in capacity building and exchange of expertise in corruption prevention and related fields.

At the end of the program, certificates of completion were distributed, and participants were honored.
