The Libyan Parliament-designate government said that humanitarian support and relief efforts continue in the Tahala Municipality for families affected by recent floods.

The distribution of aid is being conducted under the direct supervision of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Libyan Government, Eng. Salem Al-Zadma, who also chairs the Emergency and Rapid Response Committee.

The statement added that aid is being delivered across all neighbourhoods, villages, and localities within Tahala, organised by committees assigned to manage the relief efforts. The aid, provided by the General Command of the Libyan National Army (LNA) and the Libyan Relief Agency, aims to alleviate the burdens and suffering of citizens during this crisis.

On Tuesday, representatives from various areas within Tahala Municipality received their allocated shares of relief supplies. These supplies included a variety of food items, blankets, mattresses, hygiene products, and water containers.

The residents of Tahala have expressed their deep gratitude to the General Command and the Libyan Government, particularly acknowledging the efforts of the Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Emergency Committee.

They appreciated his personal involvement, oversight, and swift response to their needs following the devastating floods over the past few days.
