On Wednesday, Libyan Foreign Minister Abdulhadi Al-Hwaij held a phone conversation with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov to explore ways to strengthen the bilateral relationship between Libya and Russia.

The discussion highlighted the deep historical ties between the two countries and emphasized the need for closer cooperation to enhance security, stability, and peace across the region and the African continent.

According to a statement from the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to advancing mutual cooperation. They underscored the importance of expanding their partnership, particularly in light of the current geopolitical challenges facing the region.
