This Sunday morning, the Security Directorate Support Unit of the Eastern Region announced the initiation of its duties in Ghat by deploying safe patrols within the city.
According to a statement, the security deployment is part of a comprehensive security plan, instructed by the head of the unit, Colonel Mahmoud Bahiri. The implementation follows the launch of an extensive security strategy involving various security agencies and the armed forces.
The forces of the Security Directorate Support Unit in the Eastern Region will conduct intensive patrol operations along the border strip in collaboration with other security agencies, as stated in the announcement.
The objective of this plan is to enhance security and stability in Ghat and its suburbs by deploying patrols that ensure safety and visibly uphold security. This initiative also aims to combat various types of cross-border crimes threatening the country’s stability.
