On Monday, Libya’s Berniq Airways entered into a key partnership with CPaT Global, a leader in aviation distance learning, to enhance its pilot and cabin crew training. This collaboration represents a major leap forward for Libya’s aviation sector, as the country continues to rebuild its infrastructure and reassert its place in the regional air transport market.

As part of the agreement, CPaT Global will provide Berniq Airways with customized Aircraft Systems courses for their Airbus A320 CEO and A320 NEO fleets.

Additionally, the partnership will deliver a full suite of Aircraft Procedural Trainers for pilots and an extensive range of cabin crew training materials, including Aircraft Systems for Cabin Crew, Cabin Safety, and 3D Cabin Trainers. These tailored programs will ensure that Berniq Airways’ teams are equipped with the skills needed to meet global standards in safety and operational efficiency.

“We are excited to partner with Berniq Airways and deliver tailored Airbus A320 CEO and NEO training programs,” said Captain Greg Darrow, VP of Sales at CPaT Global. “By providing both pilot training and a comprehensive range of cabin crew courses, we aim to elevate the quality of their operations as they grow.”

Berniq Airways, based in Benghazi, symbolizes Libya’s ambition to rebuild and strengthen its aviation industry. Founded as part of the country’s broader recovery efforts, the airline is working to provide world-class aviation services while embracing Libya’s rich cultural and historical heritage. The name “Berniq” pays homage to the ancient Libyan city of Berenice, a prominent trading hub in the Mediterranean, and reflects the airline’s vision to once again connect Libya with the world.

Captain Alsanussi Alghazali, Flight Operations Manager at Berniq Airways, emphasized the importance of this partnership with CPaT Global in fulfilling their mission. “We are thrilled to partner with CPaT to expand our training programs. With customized, accessible courses, we’re committed to continually improving and adopting new technologies to ensure our teams are trained to the highest standards,” he said.

Libya’s aviation industry, once a vital link in North African air travel, has faced significant challenges over the past decade due to political instability and conflict. However, with the establishment of Berniq Airways, the country is taking significant steps toward restoring its position as a key player in the region. The airline is setting new benchmarks in operational standards, and its partnership with CPaT Global is a vital part of that process.

The collaboration will provide Berniq Airways with cutting-edge training solutions that meet international aviation standards, ensuring that pilots and cabin crew are equipped to handle the complexities of modern aviation. These training programs are essential to the airline’s long-term vision of growth and expansion, focusing on safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.
