The Libyan Investment Minister of the Parliament-designate government, Ali Al-Saeedi, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with global group “Kilua” and local company “Al-Bayt Al-Mamour” to establish a fully integrated residential and service area in Al-Abyar, east of Benghazi.

The Ministry of Investment announced that the agreement aims to deliver modern housing units and comprehensive service facilities, capitalising on the region’s investment potential.

Proposals include the development of smart cities and completing existing housing projects outside Benghazi.

Minister Al-Saeedi highlighted the project’s importance for sustainable development in Libya, emphasising its role in attracting both foreign and local investment and enhancing public-private partnerships.

Representatives from both companies affirmed their commitment to executing the project to global standards, contributing to Libya’s sustainable growth.

Both parties agreed to start immediate procedures, collaborating with Al-Abyar municipality to initiate the project.
