The Ministry of Local Government under Libya’s interim Government of National Unity has announced that the second edition of the “Libya Clean” Expo will begin on November 9 and run for four days. This environmental and cleanliness services exhibition aims to highlight sustainable practices and innovations in Libya’s environmental sector.
The official announcement took place at an event organized by the Ministry’s General Department for Environmental Sanitation on Saturday evening, attended by representatives from participating companies and sponsors.
According to Ibrahim Ben Dekhil, the General Director of the Department, such events represent a significant step forward in sustainable environmental practices within Libya. He expressed hopes that “Libya Clean” could grow into a prominent regional exhibition in North Africa in the future.
Ministry spokesperson Aboubakr Al-Trabelsi emphasized that the exhibition will focus on showcasing environmental initiatives and the latest equipment and innovations in cleanliness services. The event provides an opportunity for companies, institutions, and civil society organizations to display their contributions to environmental protection and improvement, while creating a platform for awareness of their services.
The exhibition also promotes collaboration and knowledge-sharing with international companies, allowing attendees to explore the latest developments in the field of environmental innovation.
In addition, the expo will feature a range of activities, including educational lectures, awareness programs, and a special forum for municipal cleaning departments across Libya. The forum, which includes a workshop on municipal planning, aims to bring together municipal cleaning department heads from across the country to discuss best practices and strategies.
