Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, Commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), held a meeting with a delegation of Sheikhs, elders, and intellectuals from the Al-Mnifa tribe.

During the meeting, Haftar commended the tribe for its steadfast patriotism and sacrifices in pursuit of Libya’s unity and stability.

According to a statement issued by the LNA General Command, Haftar emphasized the pivotal role of Libya’s tribes in fostering national reconciliation and consolidating stability. He highlighted that the tribes, in all their diversity, remain the cornerstone of the country’s social cohesion and unity.

The Al-Mnifa delegation expressed their gratitude and respect for Haftar’s consistent stance on protecting Libya’s unity and sovereignty. They reaffirmed their unwavering support for the LNA’s vision of building a secure and stable nation.

The delegation also praised the key role played by the LNA in safeguarding Libya’s security and stability, as well as its efforts in supporting reconstruction and development projects. These initiatives, they noted, contribute significantly to strengthening stability and opening new horizons for Libya’s future.

Libya’s tribes, such as the Al-Mnifa, have long been recognized as integral to the country’s social and political landscape. Historically, tribal leaders have acted as mediators during periods of conflict, fostering dialogue and reconciliation among divided communities.

Their endorsement of the LNA underscores the military’s influence not only in security matters but also in shaping Libya’s political trajectory.

In addition to its military role, the LNA has expressed a commitment to supporting reconstruction efforts in Libya. These projects aim to rebuild infrastructure, provide essential services, and foster economic growth in regions affected by years of conflict.

Tribal leaders, such as those from the Al-Mnifa delegation, recognize the importance of these efforts in promoting long-term stability and creating opportunities for future generations.
