The spokesman for the Libyan National Army (LNA), Major General Ahmed Al-Mismari, stated that Turkey has taken advantage of the ceasefire, to bring more mercenaries to Libya.

Al-Mismari added that Turkey was using American weapons such as M-16 tanks, and Hawk air defense systems.

According to LNA sources, the Libyan Air Force targeted on Sunday several tanks and vehicles belonging to Government of National Accord (GNA) forces, after they had moved near the Al-Washeka area, west of Sirte. The sources did not reveal the estimated death toll among the GNA forces targeted, but it is believed to be high.
