The Prime Minister of the Libyan Government-designate Osama Hammad reiterated the government’s unwavering stance on the unity of Libya and the cohesion of its social fabric. He added that the government continues to strive to end the ongoing division and to solidify constitutional legitimacy as the sole path to restoring stability and fulfilling the aspirations of the Libyan people.

– The Libyan government, emanating from the House of Representatives, renews its call for the international community to cease interactions with the expired mandate of the National Unity Government, to preserve Libya’s unity and stability, and to support regional and international efforts to find solutions based on solid foundations for the Libyan crisis.
– The government renews its call and support for pushing towards genuine and fair elections that reflect the will of the Libyan people.
– Finally, the Libyan government reaffirms its support for national reconciliation efforts between the House of Representatives and the High Council of State to achieve a Libyan-Libyan solution and calls on the international community to support the Libyan people’s aspirations for a prosperous democratic state.
