The Tunisian Minister of Transport Anouar Maarouf announced on Monday that the Tunisian border with Libya has been closed due to fears of a Coronavirus outbreak.

Tunisia has reported 20 confirmed cases of the Covid-19 virus (commonly known as Coronavirus).
The country has also imposed restrictions on flights with some European countries and suspended sea travel.

Despite Libya not having any confirmed cases of Covid-19, authorities in the West and East have taken strict measures to prevent an outbreak.
