Security forces in Ajdabiya have identified the suspects involved in the brutal killing and burning of a local citizen, according to a security source on Tuesday. The victim, Nasser Lahimer Al-Amami, was burned to death, and the incident has shocked the community.

The source told Al-Wassat News that three individuals have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the crime. Investigations are ongoing to determine the motives behind the murder and the sequence of events leading to the attack.

According to initial reports, contact with Nasser Lahimer Al-Amami was lost last Friday night. His remains were later found burned, indicating a violent act that authorities have described as both “heinous and deeply disturbing.”

Security agencies in Ajdabiya have launched a comprehensive investigation, with forensic teams working to gather evidence and establish the exact circumstances surrounding the killing. Officials stated that further details will be released once the interrogations are complete and charges are formally filed against the suspects.

This incident highlights ongoing concerns about public safety in Ajdabiya, a city that has faced sporadic outbreaks of violence and crime. Local authorities have urged residents to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activities that could aid the investigation.

The victim’s family and community members have called for justice, demanding that those responsible face severe legal consequences.

Authorities confirmed that the suspects are currently in custody and are being interrogated. The police emphasised their commitment to uncovering the full truth and ensuring justice for Nasser Lahimer Al-Amami and his family.
