On Tuesday, the Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, held a meeting with the Interim Prime Minister, Abdullah Al-Thinni. They discussed the basic and necessary needs of citizens, as well as solutions to the daily problems they faced.

The Minister of Health, Saad Agoub, Minister of the Interior, Ibrahim Bouchnaf, and Undersecretary of the Finance Ministry, Emraja Ghaith, in addition to a number of other officials, also attended the meeting.

During the talks, Haftar directed the government to end the crisis of power outages within ten days, and work to activate the visa payment system to eliminate a cash liquidity crisis.
The meeting also stressed the need to urgently consider the country’s infrastructure, and work to provide fuel to the southern regions. They also confirmed that the strategic stockpile of commodities will be sufficient for six months.
