Libya Media Forum Unveils New Paths for Local Content Development
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The Libya Media Forum continued on its second day with a series of panel discussions bringing together journalists, media experts, and content creators to explore fresh and innovative methods for developing local media content.

The forum, held in Tripoli, is hosting a variety of local, regional, and international media platforms along with media companies and institutions offering hands-on workshops. These sessions aim to strengthen professional skills and promote creative approaches among participants — especially young media professionals and content creators.

Against the backdrop of a rapidly evolving Libyan media landscape — challenged by political and economic constraints — the Media Forum seeks to foster better coordination between domestic and international media institutions, develop the capabilities of Libyan journalists, and encourage innovation in both digital and traditional news production.

Organizers and attendees emphasize that the event offers a key platform for showcasing modern media practices and building sustainable national capacities. In doing so, it aims to contribute to a stronger, more diversified and resilient media sector in Libya.
