Libya’s Airports Authority Announces Sebha International Airport’s Operation

The President of the Airports Authority, Mohamed Abdullah Bayt Al-Mal, announced Sebha International Airport was ready to resume operations beginning next Wednesday.

Addressing the head of the Civil Aviation Authority, Bayt Al-Mal called for the required checks mentioned in the Coronavirus Prevention Measures Manual to be completed by next week. He stated that the airport was ready to operate flights from a technical and security aspect.

Sebha International Airport has been temporarily closed since March 2020 as part of governmental precautinary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
