The meeting was attended by Ahmed Maiteeq, Abdulsalam Kajman, Mohammed Amari Zayed, and Ahmed Hamza, in addition to a number of ministers.

At the outset of the meeting, the Cabinet adopted the minutes of the second regular Cabinet meeting of 2020.

The Cabinet meeting also touched upon the report submitted by the Ministerial Committee that was formed to discuss economic reforms. Specifically, the Cabinet discussed cutting fuel subsidies and replacing them with direct cash support.

During the meeting, the Cabinet also agreed to form a body to monitor commercial competition in order to fulfill the requirements of the next economic phase.
