On Tuesday, the Naval forces of Egypt and France carried out a military exercise in the Mediterranean. This involved the Egyptian frigate Taba, and the French frigate Jean Bart.

They conducted various training activities, including securing areas against submarine attacks, electronic warfare training, and symmetrical threat deterrence training.

The drills come in light of endeavours meant to boost bilateral military cooperation. In a way that contributes to honing combat, and operational skills for the two-armed forces.

They also support efforts that aim to maintain maritime security, stability, and peace in the Mediterranean region.
