On Monday, the Minister of the Interior of the Libyan Interim Government, Ibrahim Bushnaaf, issued a decision to adjust the curfew in Libya to allow for a brief 2 hour window for people to get essential goods and supplies.

However, after careful consideration by the joint Libyan National Army-Interim Government committee to combat Covid-19 virus, it was decided to widen that window in order to give optimal time for citizens.

The LNA’s Commander, Khalifa Haftar, thus issued a decision to adjust the curfew hours in the territories under the LNA/IG control.

Curfew as of today will start from 3 p.m. to 7 a.m..
