Schools to Reopen in Kufra Next Week

On Wednesday, the Steering Council of the municipality of Kufra announced that it will set a date for the opening of schools, and the beginning of the 2020-2021 academic year, next week

During a meeting between the Chairman of the Steering Council and school principals, it was agreed to open schools in the city and throughout the municipality

The chairman pledged to provide essential goods for the schools, including cleaning materials and sterilization spray pumps to combat COVID-19.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to form a committee to follow up on the schools and the education sector, and help overcome any difficulties that may hinder the start of the academic year.
