The Libyan Embassy in Jordan and its health attaché ordered the formation of an emergency committee to count the number of Libyans residing in the Hashemite kingdom with the aim of protecting them from the coronavirus pandemic.
The embassy clarified that it has provided all necessary tools of prevention, including face masks, gloves and sterilization materials to all Libyans in Jordan.
It also decided to give $500 in financial aid to Libyan families who are receiving treatment in Jordan, notably patients with tumours.
The embassy added that usual Libyan patients, those receiving treatment at their own expense in Jordan, will also be given the above-mentioned aid, in addition to students who are studying at their own expense.
