Foreign Ministers of Libya and Tunisia Discuss Restarting Maritime Transport Routes

The Foreign Minister of the Government of National Accord (GNA), Mohamed Siala, along with his Tunisian counterpart, Noureddine El-Ray, discussed the reopening of maritime routes for the transport of goods between the countries.

The Tunisian Ministry of Transportation announced in a statement on Tuesday that it would organize weekly shipments of Tunisian exports from the port of Sfax to Tripoli.

The first shipment would begin during the second week of April 2020, with preparations underway to operate a regular schedule between Tunisia and Libya.
