LNA Commander Belqasim Alabaaj Arrives In Ghat

The Commander of the Southern Military Region for the Libyan National Army (LNA), Major General Belqasim Alabaaj, arrived to Ghat in southwestern Libya. He met with prominent social figures and elders from the city to discuss the security situation in the south.

Alabaaj said that military patrols were due to take place throughout Fezzan, Libya’s southern region, in order to maintain order and secure Libya’s borders.

Alabaaj also stressed the need to respect the rule of law and deal respectfully with members of the armed forces.
