The National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) announced on Friday that it had not registered any new cases of Coronavirus in the country.

In a statement, the NCDC claimed that 94 suspected samples were tested and that all had returned negative.

The total number of cases in Libya remains at 64, including 33 active cases, 28 successful recoveries, and 3 deaths.

Several Arab countries have tightened restrictions on movement and travel to curb the spread of the virus. Billions of dollars have been pledged in stimulus packages across the globe to reduce the economic repercussions of the crisis.
