The Foreign Media Department of the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation announced on Tuesday that the ministry will take all legal measures nationally and internationally against the Libya Panorama channel that supports armed and terrorist groups, and against Sami Al-Atrash after his call for suicide attacks to be carried out in eastern Libya.

The Media Department said in a statement that Al-Atrash went so far as to call for attacks to take place in Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, adding that it holds international organisations and the community responsible for allowing channels to incite hate speech and violence in Libya.

It also reminded the people in charge of the media outlets of the UNSC resolutions and UN mission statements that condemn media discourse that calls for murder, destruction and supporting terrorist organisations.
