On Wednesday, the Greek Parliament announced its keenness to enhance cooperation with the Libyan House of Representatives (HoR).
This is in order to confront common challenges faced by both countries, as well as the strengthening of bilateral relations.
In response to comments by the Speaker of the HoR’s Foreign Affairs Committee, Youssef Al-Agouri, the Greek Parliament expressed interests in enhancing trade between the two countries citing the needs of the Libyan market, as well as the diversity and quality of Greek companies.
Greek Parliament Speaker Konstantinos Tasoulas expressed his gratitude to Al-Agouri for his interest in working to strengthen relations between the two countries.
He reiterated his parliament’s willingness to cooperate with the HoR, which in turn will improve the relations between Greece and Libya.
