NCDC: Treatment Used To Strengthen Immunity Against COVID-19

On Tuesday, the head of the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Badr Al-Din Al- Najjar, said that the treatment used for COVID-19 patients, are drugs to strengthen their immune system.

In a statement, Al-Najjar expected the use of blood plasma with these patients, but this method was abandoned due to the side effects from taking the immune drugs.

The NCDC on Tuesday, reported 40 new COVID-19 cases. Among the 704 suspected samples received, 664 tested negative for the virus. This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 802, with 206 recoveries, and 23 deaths, according to the center.
