The Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation of the Government of National Accord (GNA) has announced the creation of a committee to organise illegal migration, as it decided to start keeping track of illegal migrants in shelters.
The Ministry’s statement said that the meeting was headed by Mr. Al-Arousi, members of the sector’s delegates from the Ministries of Labour and Communications and the General Intelligence Service.
The Ministry discussed several laws related to immigration and regulating the entry of foreigners into Libya in accordance with Law No. 6 of 1987 and Law No. 19 of 2010 and Resolution No. 386 of 2014 regarding the establishment of the agency to combat illegal immigration.
