On Friday, France stressed that it continues to monitor the arms embargo imposed on Libya by the United Nations.

According to Al-Arabiya, France called on the United States to intervene to stop the repeated violations of the arms embargo on Libya.

For its part, Italy has deployed a new warship to lead the EU’s naval operation “IRINI” in order to support the capabilities of the maritime mission tasked with monitoring the implementation of the UN resolution banning the supply of arms to Libya.

Greece has also provided a frigate, and France, Luxembourg, and Germany have provided aircraft to support the operation.
